The Nottingham Clinical Research Facility is led by Professor Stephen Ryder supported by team of clinical professionals dedicated to experimental medicine research.
Our multi-disciplinary team includes specialist consultants, physicians, nursing, midwifery and allied health professionals.
Our staff are skilled in high intensity, experimental medicine research including early phase drug trials, vaccine development, medical device development and complex mechanistic physiological studies.
Our facilities are managed by an experienced team of clinical and operational professionals, through a governance structure that links directly to the Board of our host organisation, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
This structure supports and co-ordinates all clinical research activity across the hospitals, as well as in collaboration with the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre.
Our work is overseen by a Management Board, chaired by the Director, which brings together clinical, operational and public insight into the research that we undertake.
