Our approach to training 

We work with our local NHS, educational and specialist research services to support the next generation of researchers, and to share our skills in early phase trial design and delivery with the wider NHS and industry workforces.

We have partnered with the Nottingham Trent University Medical Technology Skills Academy to provide a suite of professional courses for industry. The first course is the Person Responsible for Regulatory Compliance course which will cover the new Article 15 Medical Device and in vitro Diagnostic Regulations in full, while also outlining personal liabilities, and role-specific responsibilities.

Specialist research skills training

Working with the Trent Simulation Centre (based at Nottingham University Hospitals) and Nottingham Trent University, we plan to deliver a programme of masterclasses for specialised research interventions, including:

  • Endoscopy
  • Spirometry
  • Liver Fibro scanning
  • Bioresource

 

Developing our workforce

Through our dedicated Research Futures school, including a dedicated training lead, our vision is to develop a highly skilled workforce in every research profession.

Our training provision can do the same for your business through:

  • Bespoke or open courses – in topics such as leadership and innovation management as well as in specialist research areas 
  • Training clinical researchers in running experimental clinical trials 
  • Developing your workforce through internships, work experience, projects, and placements with us.
