We operate a purpose-built adult inpatient unit with 18 beds.
The unit also includes individual consultation rooms and laboratory facilities, providing a self-contained research space which can accommodate patients from arrival throughout their stay.
Our 5 bed paediatric Unit in co-located with Nottingham Children’s Hospital, at the Queen's Medical Centre.
Nottingham is the first children’s hospital in the UK and Europe to achieve the Pathway to Excellence accreditation.
The research Unit includes a child-friendly reception area, two consultation rooms and a playroom, supported by our own Play Specialist.
Our facilities benefit from co-location with the East Midlands Major Trauma Centre, and the Adult and Paediatric Emergency Departments and Intensive Care Units within the hospital.
This specialist care, immediately adjacent to our research facillities, enables us to deliver a diverse range of studies, including those involving radiotherapy, gene and stem cell therapies.
